FACEBOOK

Facebook is an online social networking service.  Facebook was founded february 2004 by Mark Zuckerbery with his college roommates at Harvard University.

Facebook was limited to Harvard students, later expanded to other colleges.

Now facebook allows anyone at least 13 years old to become registered to the website.  Once registered users can create profiles and add friends, exchange messages, post status updates and photos, videos etc.


TWITTER

Twitter is an online social networking service that enables users to send and read short 140 charactor messages called tweets.

Twitter was created in march 2006 by Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams, Biz Stone and Noah Class.  Twitter was launched in July 2006.


INSTAGRAM

Instagram is an online mobile sharing, video sharing and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos and share them on a variety of social networking platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumble and Flickr

Instagram was created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger and was launched October 2010.


BLOGGING

A blog is a discussion or informational site published on the world wide web and consisting of discrete posts displayed in reverse chronological order (the most resent post appears first ).
